To all the Guardians who have supported Guardian Tales, greetings.

This is Bookang Kim, the Director of Guardian Tales.

First and foremost, I would like to wish all of you a wonderful start to 2025, filled with good things and happiness.

Although this may come as a bit sudden, I’m writing to say my goodbyes to you, dear Guardians.

With the conclusion of the recent collaboration, I will be stepping down as the Director of Guardian Tales. As of April 2023, when I took on the role, I have worked toward various goals and initiatives. As this chapter comes to an end, I sincerely feel that the direction I led the game in may not have fully met your expectations. I understand your disappointments, and in order to address these issues and prepare for the future, I will be passing the reins to the next director, Robin, who will take over the role and continue the journey forward.

Robin, the new director, has been with the Guardian Tales planning team for a long time and has also been a dedicated Guardian. His deep understanding of the game, development skills, and love for Guardian Tales will help bridge any gaps that have appeared over time. I believe Robin will lead the game in a fresh direction and work towards ensuring your satisfaction.

While it saddens me that I won't be able to personally finalize many of the stories and promises I had prepared with the intention of standing by you, the experiences I've had with the incredible development team are memories I will cherish. Together, we created the grand finale of Season 2 and built the gameplay I had always hoped for when I was a player. It has been challenging, but also fulfilling, and these moments will always remain special to me.

Guardian Tales is now ready to embark on a new chapter under a different direction. I hope you will continue to offer your support and excitement as the game evolves. While my time in this role ends here, I will return to being a Guardian of Kanterbury and cheer on this new journey.

Once again, I apologize for any shortcomings during my time here, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the love and feedback you have given me throughout this journey.
