2023 Q2—Q4 Roadmap

 

Greetings Guardians! 

We wish to disclose details on the upcoming contents running up to December of this year through the 2023 Q2—Q4 Roadmap today!

Please keep in mind that the following content names, details, and images can be changed in the actual update. Also, the dates (months) mentioned are for the Korean server and global release dates may differ. Be sure to check out official announcements and patch notes for details later on.

STEP 1: Season Achievements - Season 3

Season 3 for the Season Achievements will begin.

  • In order to allow more Guardians to enjoy Season Achievements, various challenges will be offered in different difficulties.

 

  •  Ranch will be added to Farm.
     

 

  • 4th area in Expedition, the 'Desert of Madness' will be added.
  • New districts will be added.
  • New bosses and monsters will be added. 
  • Records and stories following the Expedition of the new area will be added.
     

 

  • As we disclose this roadmap, we want to let you know that we will get right onto development of World 17.
  • We will do our best to meet your expectations and provide the most fun story content to you all.
     

  • Season 4 for the Season Achievements will begin.
  • Following the analysis of the data collected from Season 3, we will try to offer the new season of Season Achievements to be more fun and approachable.
     

  • CO-OP Expedition content where you will go on a cooperative battle or boss raids with other Guardians will be added.
  • Collaboration, control, and the joy of conquering the battles will be the main concept of this game mode.
  • As this will serve as one of the core contents prepared for Season 3 of Guardian Tales, we will be releasing it in beta mode first before offering the complete content.
     

  • After we are finished with offering World 17, we will go straight into developing World 18.
  • As this will be the last chapter in store for Season 2 of Guardian Tales, we will be doing our best in its preparation.
     

We want to share with you the contents currently under research and development from the dev team.

  • Overall difficulty revision
    • We are preparing to revise the difficulty of the main (world) chapters and Expedition content.
    • We will perform research to allow more Guardians to enjoy the new contents.
       
  • Friend system improvements
    • Friend system will be changed to a mutual acceptance form where both sides will need to accept.
    • Friend request, multiplate, guild invites will be made easier
       
  • New content preparation for Season 3
    • New lobby and contents are being prepared for the Season 3 or phase 3 of Guardian Tales.
    • In order to allow Guardians to focus more on the new contents, we plan on performing maintenance on contents offered in Seasons 1 and 2.
       
  • More promises to the Guardians
    • The system updates mentioned in the 2022 4Q Community Q&A in "Claim All" function for Merch, Farm resource placements function, Guild Name change function, and more are all underway to be added in the 1st half of this year.

We will continue to communicate more often with all of you and work hard to carry out the content developments to meet the promised timeline.
