From the first look and our first step
We were walking a well built path
Fell from the castle into the trees
Kantebury forest now it is
Traversed through it and found a sword
Mythical was the feeling it showed
Then and there a vision we had
12 champions and to beat the big bad
On a quest we embarked from that point
But those were not all the voices in our choir
Little princess was as important as that
No, it was more, she was our guiding light
Through all the worlds and different timelines
She was there, always by our side
Who is the guiding light that gives you aid
Helps you go on, revives you every day
That is the little princess in your life
Take a look at that someone by your side
Then face fully your real life events
Guardians!
It is time to protect.

The Chosen One’s headquarters, a grandeur prism threatening the grayscale skies of the
wasteland, stood both conspicuous and latent. Originally carved from white marble, the
perfectly lined rows of pillars now appeared faded, chipped at the flutings, blending with the
dull colors of the vast desert. And there, on the second uppermost floor, her elbows perched
lazily on one of many crumbled railings.
"The candidates are faring well, aren’t they…?" The words escaped her lips laxly. She was
watching the people she deemed worthy of watching. Letting them bask in her gaze was the
least she could do. After all, they had withstood countless trials she had put them through.
There were a lot of unfortunate ones who never lived to see another day.
Still, leaving a trail of bodies had never been her true wish. To her, it was a mere corollary for
the greater good. As an Archpriestess, she dreamed only of the success of her ideals.
Lately, all her leisure had been spent supervising the progress of the most promising
candidate yet: a peculiarly faced warrior clad in silver armor. It was through observing them
for so long that she had come to know their comrades as well.
First, there was this stoic, pink-haired warrior wielding a spear. From what she knew, this
one had been unapologetically critical of her teachings. Likely a mentor figure—one who
hindered progress and was to be disposed of once the silver knight attained absolute power.
Then there was… the fire harpy. A presence that turned everything upside down, seemingly
out of place in the dynamic between the infidel mentor and the rising star. Yet something in
the harpy’s vibrant demeanor had caught her eye.
The fire elemental’s emerald eyes glinted much like her own. It was her spirit, her
enthusiasm, that reminded the Archpriestess of herself. Her entire race was known for being
frail and physically weak, but she had shown that it could be defied through sheer will.
At times, as much as she berated herself for indulging such thoughts, she wondered if the
harpy might be the true Chosen One instead of the obtuse-visaged knight. Ultimately, there
was no clause in the scripture forbidding the other races from assuming the title of a Hero.
The more she thought of her, the more the idea of harming her felt melancholic. Yet the
scripture demanded that only one candidate could ascend to godhood; the rest were of no
importance.
"Knight! Did you see that uppercut? That was precisely what I trained my biceps for! Another
district cleared!" A vivacious shout, reaching to the balcony, snapped her from her musings.
It was the harpy, exulting in victory over the last vile creature. Scintilla.
Letting go of the cold railing, she lifted her gold staff engraved with a spherical blue crystal,
affectionately named Messiah.
"I pray for your soul to find peace, harpy," she murmured. Her grip around Messiah
tightened. The time to fulfill a predetermined choice had arrived.

“Captain! I see land at one o’clock!”
“Good job, barrelman! Full speed ahead!”
As Rachel, the captain and, currently, helmsman of the Crimson Rose Pirates, gently
turns her ship starboard.
“Lena! How’s the weather looking?”
“The stars told me the weather will be clear! The waves here are a bit choppy, so watch the rudder!”
“Sure thing!”
As the young vessel pierces through the thick fog that plagued them for hours, Rachel
puts on her eye patch.
“Guess I gotta thank Lahn for telling me what this is used for before we set sail…
Without it, the monster’s fog would’ve left us blind. I’ll need to ask Sia to get some Lupina merch
for me later…”
Her recollection of the crew’s encounter with the mermaid and dragon scions are
interrupted by the blinding light beyond the fog.
“Owowow…”
She squeezes her eyes shut, raising one hand to block the sunlight. As she barely winks
open her left eye, the vibrant colors that slip into her vision prompt her to jolt open both of her
eyes, entranced by the island’s beauty.
“Captain! The shore up ahead looks good for mooring!”
“Thanks, Lena!”
The entire crew admires the island’s beauty as Rachel gently steers her ship towards the
island.
“Drop the anchor! Get the bentos!”
After the anchor is dropped, the crew eats the anti-scurvy bentos Rachel got from Sia.
“Captain… I don’t wanna eat these bell peppers…”
“Bell peppers are rich in vitamins and fibers. You can’t get these from any other parts of
your meal. You don’t want to get scurvy, do you?”
“Aaaah! I don’t wanna get scurvy!”
“What Lena said is right. Besides, these aren’t the bell peppers Loraine makes. Even the
well-behaved little princess doesn’t like eating those. These were made by a master chef called
Lynn.”
“ … Alright…
“Ah…”
“What is it? It’s delicious, right?”
“Yeah! But… why are you eating two of them, Captain? We only get to eat one…”Ç
“I need the energy to keep up my weight training! I don’t want the mighty-mighty fruit I
ate to go to waste, you know.”
After finishing their meal and their chant, the Crimson Rose Pirates make landfall.
“Urgh…”
“Oh no! The captain has landsickness again!”
“Don’t worry, captain! I have sparkling barley tea with me!”
As Lena gently pours the sparkling barley tea into Rachel’s mouth, the latter revitalizes
instantly.
“Aaah! Much better.”
As Rachel returns to her feet, she brushes the sand off her Blue Rose. After it gleams,
she lets out a satisfied “hmph” before resting it on her shoulder. She looks back at her crew of
four, with Lena and the little trio all ready for an adventure.
“Alright, everyone! Let’s go!”
She directs her gaze toward the peak of the mountain at the center of the island, before
pointing her weapon at it..
“Get ready, monster! A little fog isn’t enough to stop the future King of the Pirates!”

I’m sorry...

The greatest of all. The worst among the worst… But I had to.

For us invaders, the gene went extinct, or so said the doctors. But mine was
there. Latent, yes, but still waiting its trigger.

I was a danger. A curse everyone flew away at the sight alone.

A monster.

Yet... You offer me your hand.

You give me hope and a life to cherish. Help me grew stronger and accept my
inner self.

So I promised: I’ll never awake that forbidden power. And now look at me.

I’ve just wasted that life you gave me…

I turned into the monster all took me for all those years.

Something of pure hatred, that I can feel but can’t control.

In time, I know my consciousness too will fade away.

A soulless mass of flesh, fighting afar. Was it me this whole time?
Yet, somehow, I’m still loosing.

Was it such a threat? Or is it some poor excuse for my faillure?

I wanted so much to help you. To protect you, just as you protected me back
then…

And I couldn’t!

Will you forgive me?

«Savi… O...»

Another Knight with red cape places a hand on his shoulder. “So… Can you tell me
why you’re in my universe?”
“Later, I need a final check.” He turns to Beth. “You know anything about 14th
commander?”
“Who?” Beth hug red cape Knight.
“Never mind.” He takes out a phone-shaped thing and opens a portal. “Remember:
never trust the purple fair.”
Knight jumps into the portal and arrives in another universe.

A gate opens in front of Loraine. “Oh, Prometea! What’s that?”
Knight leaps from the portal. On the screen of dimensionwrap appears: 503A.H.

The portal closes behind him, and he adjusts the helmet. “Hi, Loraine. Have you
noticed anything strange?”
“Except you that popping out of portals? Nothing. Anyway…” She grabs his
shoulders. “You promised me that you would have a surprise for our anniversary. I
haven't seen you all day, darling.” A homicidal aura emanates from her
“W-wait! I’m not.”
“Lo-ra-ine.” Knight of this universe comes from behind him. “Surprise!” He takes out
a ringbox.
She put down Dimension Knight and took the ringbox. “Love you, darling!” And kiss
him.
“Anyway, who are you?” He stares at Knight on the ground.
He extends his hand. “A little help?”
They raise him up and continue to stare at him.
“I'm from another universe and I'm here to search for something.”
“What?” Loraine sits on a chair.
“A variable, do you know about it?”
“Can you be more specific?”
Knight pointed at the door of the inn. “If you allow me, I can search it in the databank
of the command center.”
Lorain gave him her phone. “You can use this.”
He checked all files on it, but nothing. The data isn’t here. He returns the phone.
“Thanks for help.”
This universe knight bring some plate and fork. “Do you want joining us on our
anniversary?”
“No, Thanks.” He take out dimensionwrap and open a portal. “Happy day.” And jump

“Pri-princess… I-I can’t breathe.”
She frees him. “So-sorry, but I’m so happy!” She jump for the happiness. “You’ve
come back to me.”
“Calm down princess.” He pat her head. “I’m happy too, but I’m not the knight you
know.
“What are you talking about?”
“I’m traveling from universes to universe for finding a variable. Do you have

She passed a USB to him. He connects it to the device, but nothing.
“Thanks for help.” He opens the portal.
She grabs his hand. “I want to go too.”

Recently, there’s a new cafe that opened up in Kanterbury that’s gaining a lot of attention. Many
who already visited the place showered it with praises. Reviews from FaceBreak read “A
luxurious and elegant cafe”, “ Delicious sweets and amazing coffee!”, and “The maid is cute!
Five Stars!”
Naturally, the little princess became curious about it after hearing so many high reviews and
asked the Guardian if they could go check it out together. Seeing as there was nothing better to
do (and mainly wanting to leave the Inn before Loraine gave the Knight more chores), the
Knight happily agreed and quickly left with the princess.
Luckily, the cafe was easy to find. Unfortunately for the Knight and princess, there was also a
long line that stretched around the area.
“Knight look!” The princess pointed at a familiar figure and smiled, “It’s Andras!”
Sure enough, pass the long line of waiting customers, stood Andras. Her bright purple hair was
tied in two ponytails and she wore a chic blue dress with white long sleeves and ruffles at the
end. And besides Andras, wearing a cute maid outfit was–
“Carol!!!!!”
A hoard of screaming members from Carol’s fanclub stood in line. It looks like many of those
waiting in line came for the bright and joyful Light elemental commander.
“Carol, control your soldiers! We’re running a business not a fan meeting.”
“Yes ma’am!” Carol, with her bright smile and bubble personality quickly took charge to settle
her loud, but well-meaning, troops.
“Honestly, if only I didn’t lose that bet to that pipsqueak.” Andras sighed and was about to return
inside the cafe before she noticed two familiar faces amongst the sea of people. “Oh it's you
two.”
“Andras! Hello!” The little princess smiled as she and the Knight walked towards the Demon
God. “Are you the owner?”
“Greetings princess of Kanterbury and ….dumb face.” The Knight frowned but Andras ignored
her and addressed the princess, “For the time being, yes. Would you care to come inside?”
“Yes please!” Both the Knight and princess nodded enthusiastically and followed Andras.
True to the reviews, the cafe is elegant. Beautiful decor, polished countertops, and velvet seatings
welcomed them. Soft jazz played in the background and the smell of freshly brewed coffee
entered their senses.
Andras showed them to a table, “Seeing as Carol is preoccupied at the moment, I’ll notify
another of our attendants to serve you.”
As Andras walked away, the little princess and Knight looked around in awe. The Knight’s eyes
grew wide at seeing the person behind the counter making the drinks.
White hair tied in a high ponytail, fluffy ears, and golden eyes. It was Garam. Garam was the
barista of this place. He must have felt the Knight’s stare because he looked over at them and
waved.
“Welcome to Blue Moon. What would you like to order?” A voice chimed.
The Knight looked up and saw another familiar face. Ara.
Well…it looks like it’ll be an interesting cafe experience.

Sohee no iba a
