ANNOUNCEMENTS APR 22. 2025 [DEVELOPER'S LETTER] DIRECTOR ROBIN'S 10TH LETTER

Hello, this is Director Robin.

This letter is to share details regarding the upcoming major update scheduled for next week on the global server. I would also like to inform you about future improvements based on the feedback we’ve received from our Korean players, who experienced the update in advance.

PvP Balance Related to Myth Update

After the Myth update, all heroes will participate in Arena, Master Arena, and Death Match battles at an adjusted level of 115. In Friendly Match, selecting the “Equal Stat Mode” will automatically adjust heroes to level 130 for Grade 5 and level 150 for Grade 6. If this mode is not applied, battles will proceed based on the heroes’ actual levels.

To ensure that Grade 5 heroes remain viable as they gradually undergo Myth transformation to Grade 6, we designed the 20-level gap between 130 and 150 to have minimal impact on actual stats. Additionally, we implemented a gentler growth curve starting from level 101. However, we’ve received significant feedback from our players that Grade 6 heroes currently feel overwhelmingly powerful.

We are internally preparing adjustments to further reduce the performance gap between Grade 5 and Grade 6 heroes in PvP. Once the details are finalized, we will share them with you in a separate announcement.

Illustration Switching for Ascent and Myth

We’ve received many requests from players who wish to keep a hero’s previous illustration even after their Ascent or Myth transformation. We are currently preparing a feature that will allow you to switch between the original and upgraded illustrations for heroes who have undergone Ascent or Myth. We look forward to sharing more details with you soon. You’ll be able to freely choose the appearance you prefer, so we kindly ask for a bit more patience.

Difficulty Adjustment for Myth and Awakening Stone Dungeons

We’ve noticed that some players have experienced difficulty clearing the Myth and Awakening Stone Dungeons, as the difficulty curve from level 110 to 150 is currently quite steep.

To improve this, we are planning to ease the overall difficulty and adjust the rewards so that clearing higher levels will yield greater amounts of resources. This will help make it easier to obtain Myth and Awakening Stones.

Of course, we will ensure that the level 150 dungeons don’t become overly easy or too challenging for anyone, maintaining proper balance. Our goal is to allow more players to enjoy various growth content without excessive difficulty. Additionally, we are preparing to make the Dimensional Awakening Stones available in the Heavenhold SP Shop in a future update.

Myth Heroes and Hero Reset Stone

After the Myth update, the Hero Reset Stone cannot be used on Myth heroes. However, we are working to enable this feature through a series of updates to ensure it is implemented in a stable and reliable manner. Once the Dream Myth Stone becomes available, you will be able to use the Hero Reset Stone on Myth heroes. We are doing our best to make this feature available as soon as possible, so you can reset the necessary heroes and apply the stones to others in accordance with the update.

Leader Skill Cutscene Skip Feature

We’ve received feedback that some players found it inconvenient for leader skill cutscenes to always play at 100% during single-player gameplay.

In response, we are reviewing the implementation of a skip option for these cutscenes. We plan to provide a toggle feature that will allow players to choose whether to enable or disable the cutscenes based on their preference.

For New and Returning Guardians

We’ve prepared various in-game systems to help new and returning Guardians obtain resources more smoothly. Through attendance rewards and Kanterbury Guardian Basic Training missions, you can acquire Stamina, Gems, Summon Controllers, and more. Additionally, you can collect “Event Points” from missions and attendance, which can be used to purchase various items from the shop.

For new Guardians, we’ve set up features such as the Start Dash, Kanterbury Guardian Basic Training, Basic Mission, and the Myth Compass to support a smoother start and early progression. We will continue to explore ways to provide helpful rewards and resources through future events as well.

Upcoming Quality-of-Life Improvements

We are currently preparing a range of quality-of-life features, including the implementation of an ELO rating system for Colosseum, a trial save function for Boss Rush, alerts when Awakening materials are insufficient, a one-tap Knowledge Claim feature, auto party formation for Adventure, bulk claiming of Roadmap event rewards, improved Relic set indicators, and a refined combat power display system. These features will be applied through upcoming updates as each one completes final testing, with the goal of making your gameplay experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

New Hero Silhouettes

We’re currently hard at work preparing new heroes for upcoming updates, and we’d like to give you a first look at them through their silhouettes.

We also sincerely apologize for any concerns caused by recent illustrations. We are committed to improving the overall quality, starting with each hero’s appearance and expression. Moving forward, we will strive to ensure that not only new heroes but also the Myth illustrations of existing heroes reflect and preserve each hero’s unique identity.

iOS Crash Issue

We sincerely apologize to all Guardians who have experienced inconvenience due to crash issues on iOS devices. We are currently identifying several contributing factors, including memory issues, optimization problems, and compatibility concerns on certain lower-end devices. A dedicated team of client engineers has been assigned to address the issue, and we are doing everything we can to resolve it as quickly as possible—especially in global and specific regions where the impact has been more severe.

We are fully committed to making your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible, and we will continue to carefully review and act on the feedback you provide—not only in this letter but moving forward as well.
