News Post
Hello, this is Director Robin.
The weather has turned warm and slightly hot — it feels like spring or maybe even summer has already arrived.
As the temperature swings can still be quite large, please take care of your health.
Let’s begin the seventh developer letter.
Today’s letter includes a small but exciting piece of news about what's ahead.
Guild Raid
In the sixth letter, I mentioned new boss additions and improvements to existing bosses. We’re continuing to review other bosses and will steadily apply improvements going forward.
I also briefly brought up the topic of auto-battle. Based on the feedback we’ve received from Guardians, we plan to examine the matter more carefully. We’ll share further details once a decision has been made.
Thank you to all the Guardians who left thoughtful opinions.
Stabilization for iOS and Low-End Devices
To the Guardians experiencing issues on some iOS or lower-spec devices — we sincerely apologize once again. We’ve brought in additional support to investigate and resolve the issue, ensuring that Guardian Tales can be enjoyed smoothly by everyone. We’re doing our utmost to identify the root cause and implement fixes as quickly as possible, so that you can return to a stable and comfortable gameplay experience.
The Tale of the Tetis Hero
I briefly mentioned the Tale of the Tetis Hero in the first letter, and now I’m happy to share more in-depth information with you.
Let’s hear directly from the Guardian Tales Game Designer about how this mode is set to evolve.
[Game Designer]
“Our future direction for The Tale of the Tetis Hero focuses on improving overall convenience and accessibility.”
Through continued data analysis, we’ve found that many Guardians grow their characters using the seasonal growth features, then take on repeated challenges to climb to higher floors. To help more new Guardians enjoy The Tale of the Tetis Hero, we’re strengthening the early-game guidance and enhancing general quality-of-life improvements.
We also plan to remove the burden of deciding where to invest stamina by changing how resources are earned. The stamina sweep function will be removed, and instead, players will passively earn rewards daily through idle play. The key growth item, Books of Blessing, will still be obtainable at a similar rate.
In the upcoming new season, you’ll experience a fresh storyline and an updated battle meta. To support this, a wide range of new specialties will be added or reworked, and the system itself will be refined. Unlike the overly grueling 1,500-floor climb in Season 2, the new season will be split into several segments, each consisting of 300 to 400 floors, providing a more manageable and engaging experience.
For New and Returning Guardians
We’re preparing to welcome new and returning Guardians with the April–May updates. These efforts will roll out not just in Korea, but across all regions. Since early this year, we’ve been improving UI/UX, introducing new player guides, and rolling out various convenience features. We’ll continue striving to make Guardian Tales more welcoming, more comfortable, and above all, more fun.
Major Update Incoming
A major update is just around the corner.
We’re ready for a new adventure.
Kicking off with a side story, World 21 will open its doors with brand-new tales to tell. Challenging new content awaits, filled with powerful enemies, and new transformations for our heroes will begin.
The moment to witness these changes for yourself is fast approaching — so we hope you’ll look forward to it with excitement.

Thank you once again to all the Guardians who’ve shared your valuable thoughts and returned to read this week’s Developer Letter.
The development team is steadily preparing the upcoming major update, and we’ll continue to do our very best to bring you even more joy and memorable experiences.
We’ll see you again in the next letter!
